Come, let’s (A)worship and bow down,

For He is our God,

Do not harden your hearts as at [c](G)Meribah,
As on the day of [d](H)Massah in the wilderness,
“When your fathers (I)put Me to the test,
They tested Me, though they had seen My work.
10 For (J)forty years I was disgusted with that generation,
And said they are a people who err in their heart,
And they do not know My ways.
11 Therefore I (K)swore in My anger,
They certainly shall not enter My (L)rest.”

11 The Lord has (A)sworn to David
A truth from which He will not turn back:
“I will set upon your throne one (B)from the fruit of your body.
12 If your sons will keep My covenant
And My testimony which I will teach them,
Their sons also will (C)sit upon your throne forever.”

13 For the Lord has (D)chosen Zion;
He has (E)desired it as His dwelling place.
14 “This is My (F)resting place forever;
Here I will (G)dwell, for I have desired it.
